Graphic Liner

Hello all!

Here I have for you is a little eye makeup look that I did. It's basically off of a video seen on YouTube by GGF (givegoodface). He's an amazing makeup artist and I hate that I just recently discovered him on YouTube.

This look is of a graphic eyeliner that suits small eyes, hooded eyes, and another type of eyes that I don't remember.

I used a Sephora palette box thingy given to me by the gracious Raghda and used a muted red-purple colour all over the lid and a matte black in the outer corner/crease.

I took an Urban Decay 24/7 pencil eyeliner in Zero under the eye but made sure the inner corner did not touch the lash line and winged downwards. I also winged it a little in the outer corner of the eye as well. I probably should've used a gel liner because it would've been a hell of a lot easier. After that, I add Sephora eyeshadow in Aspen Summit N. 23 on the inner corner that was left untouched by liner and Max Factor's Khol Pencil in 010 White on the water line. To top it all off I curled my lashes and used Revlon's Photoready 3D Volume mascara and filled my eyebrows in with Rimmel's Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 004 Black.

These are the brushes I used: MAC 217SE, unknown brand pencil brush, and SpaResource smudge brush.

I am, by all means, not an expert at this but I enjoy playing around with makeup. The rest of my face isn't done it probably doesn't look professional at all. Hope you enjoyed. <3

How To: Lavender Lips

Hey guys, Raghda here with a post on how to get a lavender lip. This is aimed towards achieving a lavender/lilac tone for darker skin tones, but it should also create a more pigmented frosty shade of light purple on most skin tones. :)

Products used:
Burt's Bees lip balm
Mac Studio Finish concealer
Lovely Lilac mini Sephora lip liner
Revlon lip butter in Gumdrop

What's in my Purse?

Hello all, this'll be the typical "What's in my Purse" blog. Keep in mind, this changes all the time from what's actually in the purse to the purse itself. I'm just doing this for fun anyways :)

This is the purse I've been using a lot lately. It awesome when I'm travelling by train or bus 'cuz I like not having to lug around a big purse along with a big suitcase. I bought this awhile ago from Spring on sale so I don't know how much it was nor if they have it anymore.

In the front pocket I keep napkins I get whenever I eat at a food court.

In the front zipper pocket I keep my hand sanitzer, travelo (which I just started using), and a MakeUpForever lip gloss sample in S2 (I think that's the colour name) I got from Sephora. I'll sometimes put my phone in here or other lip products I may be using for the day.

Main compartment has my Danier wallet and Bodycology hand lotion (says body cream on the bottle though) in cherry blossom. 'Course I'd put other stuff in but this is what I usually carry around.

In the inside pocket I carry my blotting paper (some brand from Pacific Mall, it says "Bead Light Oil Blotting Paper" on the front), my Sephora compact mirror, and a pad for emergencies.

In the back zipper pocket I keep my keys. It has a CVS points scanner card thingy but I don't live in the US. I use it when I visit though :)

Finally in my Danier wallet, other than the usual wallet stuff like cards, money, and so on, I always carry a mini Sugar Tinted Lip Conditioner by Fresh in the colour Passion. If I'm going somewhere real quick, I'll just carry this, my keys, and my phone and zoom out the door. What I love is that I can use this wallet as a wristlet and my phone fits in it perfectly.

That's it for now! Thanks for taking your time to visit and I apologize for our lack of posts.

Meaning behind Aldo bracelet
"Disks or balls, consisting of concentric blue and white circles (usually, from inside to outside, dark blue, light blue, white, dark blue) representing an evil eye are common apotropaic talismans in the Middle East, found on the prows of Mediterranean boats and elsewhere; in some forms of the folklore, the staring eyes are supposed to bend the malicious gaze back to the sorcerer.
Known as nazar (Turkish: nazar boncuğu or nazarlık), this talisman is most frequently seen in Turkey, found in or on houses and vehicles or worn as beads.
A blue eye can also be found on some forms of the hamsa hand, an apotropaic hand-shaped talisman against the evil eye found in the Middle East. The word hamsa, also spelled khamsa and hamesh, means "five" referring to the fingers of the hand."
